28 Dec Malmaison
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Malmaison Boutique Hotel in London and found it to be a delightful escape in the heart of the city. As I entered the room, I was immediately struck by the rich wooden floorboards, which lent a subtle warmth and sophistication to the space. The décor was modern and eye-catching, yet felt decidedly welcoming, making it easy to settle in right away.
One of the standout features was the spacious bathroom. It was not just large, but also thoughtfully designed, with a power shower that made mornings feel invigorating rather than routine. Stepping out into the bedroom area, my room waa a standard room , I was greeted by a super comfortable bed that seemed to envelop me the moment I lay down. The thoughtful touches continued with the in-room tea-making facilities and a generous supply of biscuits, a small but much-appreciated luxury that made late afternoons and early evenings feel extra cozy.
The staff at Malmaison were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to assist without hovering. While my room did not have a fridge, I found that room service was prompt, responsive, and more than made up for that minor omission. It’s a place that strikes a great balance: it feels luxurious but not overbearing, stylish but not sterile.
If you’re looking to indulge in some quality time to yourself—perhaps a quiet weekend escape or a peaceful work trip—Malmaison is well worth considering. Its combination of comfort, service, and inviting design ensures you’ll leave feeling rested, refreshed, and eager to return.
Until da next Tyme
