Thief who used Facebook during Robbery is Arrested.

A buglar who broke into a house in Italy has been arrested after thw police discovered he’d been using Facebook while carrying out the robbery.

Cops traced the thief, who has not been named , after officers noticed a computer had been left on in the house.

The homeowner from Albano Laziale near Rome told the police he didn’t use the social networking site and they concluded the last person to use his PC must have been the burglar.

The thief , 26 had posted several comments on his wall, which made it easy for cops to track him down.

Investigator Major Ivo Di Blasio said ” the owner of the house had left the computer on and when the facebook site flashed up on the screen, we had the name of the burglar, we simply went to his house and arrested him, as well as recovering the cash and jewellery.”

Blasio added: “he did not expect us at all and was very surprised when we told him how we had tracked him down. He has a history of break-ins and will now go before a judge “
