Popcorn For Healthy Dieting

Popcorn is a good fiber source & about 40 calories a cup for the air popped kind. It is a protein that has iron, B vitamins & calcium. It really is a healthy treat just as long as it’s not loaded with salt & butter. Try cinnamon or parm as a topper, you can even saute some garlic in olive oil and then add it to your popcorn or sprinkle with red pepper chips. Or how about soup with popcorn or mix it with nuts . 3 cups of popcorn is a 1 starch exchange for diabetics.
