Let’s Not Make This Personal….

When we give feedback to others, it’s most often about their actions. Yet so often, we make it about their personality. If we want better results, better relationships, let’s not make it personal.

Separate the personality and the actions from the person, and cultivate a positive attitude towards them. Then when you give feedback, you’ll have empowered yourself to communicate constructively and respectfully. As a result, the other person will most likely feel that you’re not being critical and making it personal but saying it for their benefit.

Until da next Tyme
