The Empathy Challenge …..

When someone is angry or behaving badly, or when you’re not understanding someone’s point of view or where they’re coming from – a skill you can practice is empathy. 

Practising empathy is a challenge because it requires us to:

– step back from our busy minds, and give our attention to listen to the other person.

– stop from our fast paced lives, and give our time to ask what the other person is thinking or feeling.

Empathy not only enhances our understanding and interaction, it also makes the other person feel heard and valued.  Are you ready to step up to the challenge and give your valuable attention and time to practice empathy?
